Shop Policies
PAYMENTS
* PayPal is preferred, but I am willing to work with you on other methods if it is not an option for you.
* You can use a credit card even if you don't have a PayPal account.
* If payment has not been received in 48 hours from the sale, the order may be canceled unless you email me.
SHIPPING
* Most items are made to order. Completion of items is usually accommodated and shipped within 2-3 business days (M-F) of payments received apart from US holidays that may delay shipping times.
* I generally will use USPS flat rate, but contact me if you prefer a different service. Extra quantities are charged by how many can fit safely in one package (box sizes may bump up the price if a larger box is needed to fit and ship items safely). Larger items may need to have their own container due to space and will be charged individually (I will try my best to help save you on any costs and keep orders together in one shipment).
* Prices will be adjusted accordingly for adding expedited process. Any packages containing over $100 will carry insurance and delivery confirmation is used within the US.
* Items are carefully packaged using foam, cardboard, or bubble wrapped to reach you safely. (see returns for lost or broken items)
* All taxes, customs charges (international buyers) and other fees beyond the standard shipping cost are the responsibility of the buyer along with knowing the laws of your country on imports. Delays may occur in customs and are beyond my control, but please be patient. If it hasn't arrived in a reasonable amount of time I will investigate further including you in the results as I find them.
* International shipping initial pricing is estimated for all locations outside of the US. Once a shipping address is given a more accurate estimate can be done and will be calculated and adjusted into the price. Insurance will be included on all item exports where available. Otherwise, buyer assumes the risks or the order may be cancelled on request.
* I can hold in stock items with special orders until they are completed at your request to save on shipping if they will fit in the same container. Otherwise, they will be shipped separately as the order is completed.
RETURNS
If for some reason you are truly not satisfied with any item, please contact me within 3 days of receiving it.
- Item(s) must be returned in the same packaging and condition as it was sent. Pictures sent of the item in question should be sent as is to help verify how it was received, too.
- The buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs - excludes damaged or SNAD items. Also, if an exchange is agreed upon, shipping and price variants may be included or paid by the buyer depending on the situation.
- Custom pieces that can not be resold are non-refundable. This is determined by specific designs that may include personalization or other aspects to the piece that are specific to the buyer.
- Damaged items may be replaceable depending on the piece and the documentation of the damage ensued. I ask that you inspect it once you get it, but I offer 3 days to be comfortable with your purchase and to report these damages to me where I can start a claims process if necessary. Due to the fact that some pieces are functional art, I ask you to be aware of that fact and material. If you choose to use it any other way than viewing it as a decorative art piece, I can not guarantee any inflicted damages.
- Lost in shipping items will have a claim filed if a sufficient amount of time has passed to consider it lost. A new replacement may be made or a refund will be issued depending on the piece.
- If a piece does arrive not in the way it was described for whatever reason or it was damaged, please send a picture showing the details if possible, and I will try to work with you to accommodate for a new piece or a refund.
CUSTOM and SPECIAL ORDERS
* First, contact me with your ideas for a custom art glass design.
* Once it is agreed upon to do the work I ask for a 50% commitment on most work and remaining payment due when your item(s) is ready to ship. This will be listed and reserved for you and found in the marked section for reserved items.
* If it is specific to you alone and determined that it could not be sold to others easily, I may ask for a full payment before full production. This is usually a result of one-of-a-kind pieces with personalization.
* Made to order pieces usually have a lead time of less than a week.
- The first step is to contact me to discuss the specifics of the job(i.e. size, subject matter, times, cost, how it can be translated into glass, etc.)
- I will provide initial sketches without obligation - all designs remain property and copyright to me and my studio. Once it has been approved and payment has been made, I will send images of the final piece as it's completed and ship it out ASAP on approval. Any changes at this point will be difficult if not impossible to make. Adding something as an afterthought - if it can be done - may require an interim payment before it is reworked.
- Most often the design is created and then glass is ordered, cut, etc according to what is needed. The glass is prepped and the design is laid out accordingly. It is sandblasted, checked, and then peeled and cleaned.
- Adding elements such as names, monograms, etc. to an existing design are considered Special Orders, and I will list a reserve for you. Costs will vary on the complexity of any design.
- As a custom piece, once the piece has been started, the down payment becomes non-refundable. Also, once the piece is finished, a listing will be made and the piece will be shipped once the payment is cleared and within my standard 2 business day time frame.
- Times will vary on any special order depending on the complexity of the design and workload. I will do my best to do things in a reasonable time frame and keep you apprised of any delays and reasons that may come about that is more than expected.
- Adding quantities of an item that is available will be listed at the same price of in-stock items. I don't mass produce, but can accommodate larger orders with longer lead times (also given time to order any glass that may not be in stock). Some designs are retired and will be limited to its production.
ADDED NOTE
My artwork is not machine stamped. Any design that is reproduced is still created individually and retains a unique quality. They are meant to be art pieces. Coasters and paperweights are decorative art glass that can be functional under normal conditions and use. I recommend that you view them as an art piece first taking caution as you lay them out where they may become scratched or broken.
